Sucks to be you!

The fact that everyone has to stay another semester in school is kind of terrifying. Not only the four years we planned to be in high school has been extended, we now have to work even harder. This is a major set back not only to the seniors, but to the other students. The staff members and the teachers are not affected by the school being destroyed. So why should the students?
This is beyond unfair to us seniors, who have worked hard in our high school years to have an easier senior year. Now that we are staying another semester, means all of us will be super seniors. That isn't the major set back in this whole outrageous situation, the students that were planning on going to college next year, now have to either take on high school and college or just wait another year to get in to college. Although taking on both isn't impossible.
I guess with looking more into this, it honestly gives us more time to prepare ourselves for the real world. Many seniors will be upset about losing a semester worth of credits, but I will only be losing one credit. I am upset about being in the school about another four months, but I will be taking advantaged of the school being destroyed. Besides, the school needed an upgrade anyways.

Tv show addiction turns into education possibility

I'm so addicted to Teen Mom 2. It's horrible. I watch at least 5 or more shows a night. I have a problem. Once I finished watching both seasons of Melissa and Joey. I had to find something else to watch. I have cable TV in my room but I just keeping my TV in one spot.
Teen Mom 2 has open my eyes, because of that show I really want to learn more about teen pregnancy, and teen abuse. A lot of kids are being abused mentally and physically. Not saying the parents do it, but we do it to each other. Some times with out realizing it. Just like the girls on the show, not saying they are hit and beat, but some of those girls do just sit there and let the guys walk all over them.
So much happens on this show, between the girls raising their kids, and dealing with the drama the baby daddies put them through.
I've done some reading about Teen Pregnancy and one out of three girls end up getting pregnant before they're 20 years old. 80 percent of girls end up marrying the daddy and 90 percent of teens actually raise their child. Teen moms girls are less likely to finish high school.
Nothing is wrong with getting pregnant in high school, but it does add a lot of stress to your life. Girls don't take the time to think about how drastically their life will change within the first two years of being a mother.

Famous Teacher, in Tok? Say Whaaaa!?

I guess the best part about living in Tok is, well my English teacher is going to be famous! One day at least. Have you ever herd of Cousin Curtiss? Yeah! That's my teacher. If you haven't herd of him, check him out on youtube, or Itunes. He has a couple of albums on Itunes.
I asked Mr. Curtiss Aka Cousin Curtiss, if he felt that his music will go somewhere or just be for fun. He said I want it too one day. Either, not having a day job at all and just make music all the time, or teach in the winter and be on tour all summer long.
This summer Mr. Curtiss, 15 shows in 4 weeks already booked! Well, besides one day, but thats because this one place just won't call him back. How rude! Curtiss is thinking about just taking it as a relaxing day. After school gets out, he is going back home, practice with his band for a week and then hit the road. Once the tour is over. Mr. Curtiss is going to come back and teach in the fall.
I'm super excited for him to become famous. I hope he does. Mr. Curtiss is an awesome teacher, and has an great voice. His YouTube videos are excellent, some times amusing. Curtiss has created some of his own songs, and has taken songs from artist and re sang them.
Even if Cousin Curtiss doesn't become famous, he has a fall back job. Although, I really hope to see him become famous one day, just so I can say "That guy was my teacher."

English.. Newspaper.. Eh!

I hate this. As much as I love to write, and express myself. I find as if it is the hardest thing for me to accomplish. Now giving my opinion, yeah I can do that just fine. But when it comes to actually thinking of a topic to write about, for my school articles. Well. I'm screwed. Lately it has been super easy for me, and there has been topics for me to write about. With my school. Since it's so small. Nothing really happens here. Which sucks!
